The City of Rockport sponsors the annual Whooping Crane Strut (a walk/run event) in March and the Rockport "Tropical" Christmas Festival.
"Tropical Christmas" Festival
The "Tropical" Christmas Festival is held the 1st Saturday in December and includes downtown entertainment, various children's activities, a boat parade, the lighting of a Children's Christmas Tree, an illuminated night parade, and culminating with a spectacular fireworks display.
