The Community Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining a vision for the vibrant, sustainable and healthy growth of the City of Rockport. This job entails coordination and development of current and future policies, as well as regulations related to building codes, land use, zoning, historic preservation, floodplain, and natural resources management. Additionally, the Community Planner collaborates with other city departments, community stakeholders, and state and federal entities to address and explore important issues unique to our Texas coastal community.
