Duties & Responsibilities
The City of Rockport, in conjunction with Aransas County, operates a joint communications center providing a 911 emergency call center and communications for all public safety agencies in Aransas County. There are 12 full-time telecommunications operators. Communications is the vital link between public safety responders and the public.
