Notice of Intention

Notice is hereby given that the Rockport City Council on Tuesday, August 27, at 6:30 p.m., at the Rockport Service Center, 2751 State Highway 35 Bypass, Rockport, Texas, will consider an Ordinance to enter into a Pro-Rata Reimbursement Agreement with Andrew Blankenship with Found My House, LLC for development and utility extensions made along Fort Worth Street between Twelfth Street and Fifteenth Street.

As an affected property owner you will be required to pay, upon connection to the line, the applicable pro-rata share of costs associated with the construction of said line as determined by the number of front feet of your affected property.  The reimbursement amounts for each lot or tract affected by this Ordinance and amount to be reimbursed upon connection to the line by each property owner affected shall be recorded in the Official Public Records of Aransas County, Texas.

All interested citizens and property owners are hereby notified of their right to appear and be heard on the matter.  Inquiries should be directed to City Secretary Teresa Valdez, Rockport City Hall, 2751 State Highway 35 Bypass, Rockport, Texas at 361-729-2213, extension 225.


I certify that the above Notice of Intention was posted on the bulletin board at the Rockport Service Center, 2751 State Highway 35 Bypass, Rockport, Texas on August 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. and on the City's website at and mailed to benefited property owners on Thursday, August 8, 2019.
